Water Bottles can be brought to school. Please do not send in juice drinks, water only! Students will be asked to keep their water bottles in their cubby and we will have frequent water breaks throughout the school day. If water bottles are showing signs of distraction for your child and fellow classmates I will ask that they take their bottle home and drinks will be provided from our school drinking fountains. Thank you!
Snack will be everyday after Recess at 1:20pm. Please send in healthy snack with your child each day.
Snack -Since lunch is early in the day this year, we will be having a snack break after recess and before math. Please note that if a snack is not provided from home then snack will not be an option for your child. We have limited storage space in our classroom and will be unable to supply snacks for students and food storage can result in attracting bugs along with spoiling concerns. For snack time to be a success, teamwork and understanding is extremely important!! Please be open to the suggestions of snacks listed below and understand the need for the suggestions. Eating in the classroom can become extremely distracting to learning and has the potential to become messy, however it is very important to keep energy going especially in the afternoon. Desk tops, fingers, and supplies need to stay neat and clean so classroom assignments can be completed successfully. I am asking for complete understanding and cooperation when deciding on classroom snacks every day. Please only send in healthy finger foods that can be eaten quickly without creating a messy environment. Unhealthy snacks will put back into backpacks for after school. Below are suggested snacks that can easily be placed in sandwich bags for your child.
